Russ Unger
Russ Unger is the Director of Experience Planning for Draftfcb, the largest advertising/marketing agency in the Midwest. He has been involved in the user experience design for large-scale public facing sites for such companies as Metromix, Oprah.com, United Airlines and Hewlett-Packard. He has also taught courses in Web and Interactive/Flash design and is an author and editor for Boxes and Arrows. In addition, he serves on the board of directors for the Information Architecture Institute.
Russ is co-author of the book “A Project Guide to User Experience Design” with Carolyn Chandler for Peachpit Press (Voices That Matter).

Carolyn Chandler
Carolyn Chandler is the Director of Experience Services for Manifest Digital, a full-service, Interactive Marketing Agency in Chicago, IL. She is a perpetual student of the human condition, with a keen interest in the grand variety of cultures found online and off. Her leadership helps teams land innovative, rewarding solutions.
Carolyn’s work involves directing the translation of processes from theoretical and complex to concrete and accessible, utilizing skills in team and project management, information architecture, interaction design, usability engineering, content strategy, and product management.
She has over 10 years of experience in interface design in a variety of industries. This has involved working closely with Account Executives, Product Managers, Business Analysts, Graphic Designers, and Developers, in addition to directly managing teams of User Experience professionals. Carolyn has employed usability engineering techniques, such as usability testing and user needs analyses, for eCommerce sites, informational Internet and Intranet sites, and software applications, and has actively developed user advocates within each organization.
